Roger has received the Early Learning Action Alliance “Gold Crayon” Award three times (2010, 2012, 2018). From the website: “Gold Crayon Award recipients are leaders in the vanguard who champion efforts to expand access to high quality early learning opportunities. ” This is the highest award given by the Children’s Alliance. Roger is the only legislator to win multiple times.
